Introducing Our Featured Chef of the Month: Ming Tsai

It’s hard to believe it’s already September — but, believe it! The start of September means back-to-school, a shift in seasons, and (drum-roll please) a new Featured Chef of the Month! This month, we’re excited to feature Chef Ming Tsai, renowned for his distinct culinary (and lifestyle) interests harmonizing flavors of the East and the West.

Ming isn’t only well-rounded in his cooking endeavors, but is also very dynamic in his overall lifestyle and career paths. His love of food began at a young age working alongside his parents at their family-owned restaurant, Mandarin Kitchen. While spending his Summers in Paris training at Le Cordon Bleu cooking school, Ming spent his school years studying Mechanical Engineering at Yale University. Ming continued culinary training in Paris under the mentorship of Pastry Chef Pierre Herme and Sushi Master Kobayashi and then moved on to earn his Master’s degree at Cornell University (in hotel administration & hospitality marketing).

Luckily for his fans, Ming decided to stay true to his passion for cooking and launched his culinary career–and after opening two restaurants and receiving numerous awards, his career has been full of successes.
